Stone Ridge Veterinary Medical Center offers a wide range of surgical services for our patients,
and have a surgical laser on-site. We work to provide the use of minimally invasive surgical techniques to promote safety, reduce post-operative pain, and ensure a faster recovery.
We are well-equipped to ensure a successful surgical outcome for simple or complex procedures. We excel in the diagnosis and treatment of surgical cases.
We have extensive experience in a variety of surgical procedures including:
- Spays and neuters
- Teeth cleanings and other dental care—dental prophylaxis and tooth extraction
- Soft tissue surgeries—ingested foreign bodies, bladder stones, abdominal tumors, and more
- Skin tumors, cysts, and wart removal
- Feline declaw
- Tail docking and dewclaw removal for puppies
- Anal gland removal
- Orthopedic surgeries—anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) repair, medial/lateral luxating patella repair, bone fractures, meniscus tears, luxated hip (FHO)
- C-sections—planned or emergency

Our focus is on patient safety, pain management, and employing the most current surgical practices. As a member of the Texas Veterinary Medical Association (TVMA), we follow the gold standard in veterinary surgical protocols and strive to exceed your expectations.
Our team of compassionate and experienced veterinarians and technicians will monitor your pet before, during, and after surgery with exceptional care to ensure a safe and complete recovery for your pet. For your convenience, you may complete the anesthesia consent form in advance to expedite your pet’s check-in for their surgical appointment.

Technical Expertise

We will also address questions or concerns you may have about surgery, including concerns
about anesthesia, pain management, or post-operative care. When your pet is ready to go home, we will review your post-operative care and medication instructions with you until you are confident to provide in-home care. If any questions arise during the post-operative period, we make ourselves available to answer your questions.
