Radiography, commonly referred to as x-rays, is widely used in veterinary medicine. It offers both speed and lower cost when

Digital technology provides clear images displayed on a monitor allowing practitioners to view more detail and varying angles. Ultrasonography is a valuable diagnostic tool that greatly assists in your pet’s veterinary care. An abundant amount of information
is obtained about your pet’s health in a very short amount of time. Ultrasound utilizes high-frequency sound waves, which are transmitted via a device called a transducer to look inside of the body. The echoes are recorded and transformed into video or photographic images.

Pet Echocardiogram
A veterinary echocardiogram is a specialized ultrasound procedure to evaluate your pet’s heart. It allows us to evaluate the
structure of the heart and its function. We recommend that patients with any heart disease (murmur or arrhythmia) have an echocardiogram annually to evaluate for progression of their heart disease.
