Let’s meet the lady behind the front desk and learn more about how she landed in the veterinary field.

Morgan Montgomery, client and pet care specialist

Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Morgan has always been interested in an animal-based career. She grew up with pets and spent her days surrounded by animals, and wanted to continue her great lifestyle. Morgan searched for the perfect position, discovered Stone Ridge Veterinary Medical Center of Conroe, and jumped to accept the receptionist role, especially after hearing friends’ positive reviews about the hospital. One of Morgan’s favorite parts about her veterinary receptionist role is experiencing something new every day. The excitement she feels when unique cases walk through the door prevent the job from becoming stagnant, like many other receptionist roles. 

During a typical work day, Morgan can be found fielding pet-care questions, dispensing parasite prevention, keeping everyone on schedule, and comforting worried pets and their owners. As a client service representative, Morgan handles many client-facing duties, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, processing payments, and ensuring the lobby remains clean and welcoming. She is also the first person your furry pal sees when they walk through our doors, and Morgan strives to be a soothing presence, to ensure your pet has the best veterinary visit possible. Whether your pet is facing an emergency, or if they’re here for a routine wellness visit, you can count on Morgan to remain calm and level-headed as she promptly takes care of you. When you enter our hospital, look to Morgan for all your pet’s needs. 

Morgan Montgomery, family-oriented pet lover

When Morgan isn’t dishing out love and attention to the Stone Ridge patients, you can find her surrounded by her personal pets at home. She shares her furniture with three spoiled pets: a hyper 2-year-old Labrador and German shorthair pointer mix named Bella; a 6-year-old pitbull mix named Levi, who also goes by Bubba Dog; and a sweet 6-year-old cat named Sissy. 

In addition to doting on her four-legged family members, Morgan is extremely close to her two-legged family. She enjoys being part of her close-knit family of five that includes her mother, father, younger sister, and older brother.

Next, let’s look behind the scenes for Morgan’s favorite activities. You can catch her jamming to rock music, especially while she’s practicing her nail-design talents. Once her painted nails are dry, she loves to cook, and may be found in the kitchen putting together the tastiest tacos, although any kind of taco is perfect in her eyes. However, you won’t find her enjoying a plate of tacos with a Pepsi or Coke, as she hasn’t had a soda in years. 

When Morgan heads out, you will find her traveling to the ocean or over the mountains. She’d rather rough it in the wilderness on a camping weekend than be pampered at a spa. One day, Morgan would love to lay claim to the fact that she’s traveled to each U.S. state, in addition to visiting Australia.
